Welcome to Aspen TREE!

We are a family-led 501(c)3 nonprofit (tax id 26-3468420) at the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley empowering youth and building community.

My wife and I founded Aspen TREE in 2008 to shift the negative tone and guilt-driven action that was pervading the environmental movement, and to provide tools for our community and youth to make it fun to care for our planet and food source.

We moved to our current “Farm Park” headquarters at Cozy Point Ranch in 2011 where we have been hosting a diversity of kids programming, ecological food production, and community activities for all to enjoy! We believe that positive action, fun, and solution- oriented / relevant education is the best way to get our kids and community outdoors and dedicated to make a difference!

“Never doubt that a small group of dedicated individuals will change the world, indeed it’s the only thing that ever has.”

- Margaret Mead
